UnexpectedlY PleasanT...

i woke up today feeling really crappy. i was not getting enough sleep, i was tired and yesterday wasn't actually a good day for me. it hasn't been much of a week either. anyway, to make matters worse, there was no electricity this morning so i cant iron my clothes. it was getting late and i don't have anything else to wear. i had to run downstairs to my friend's room, where luckily there was electricity. anyway, we chit-chatted while i was ironing and i'm sure glad we did cuz she told me something that made my day. well, at least my morning. she told me what a friend of ours had said about me to some other people recently. it was something really nice which i hadn't expected him to say or i didn't even think that that was how he felt. whatever it is, i felt really appreciated. it may be nothing to him and to most people, but to me, it really made my day and made me feel appreciated... its amazing what a big impact a small gesture can bring but hey, good things come in small packages... :p
